Keto Tuscan Gnudi

Spinach, with less than 1 gram of net carbohydrates per 100 g of edible portion, is a food highly compatible with the ketogenic diet.

  • It has few carbohydrates
  • Excellent source of fiber
  • Contains no cholesterol

In addition to its low calorie content, spinach offers a large number of thylakoids, which slow gastric emptying and regulate some of the hormones responsible for hunger and satiety signals.

Source of vitamin K

Vitamin K plays an important role in blood clotting and helps improve heart and bone health. Spinach contains fat-soluble vitamin K1, so for better absorption, you should use it with fat-there’s nothing easier when you’re in ketosis.
